Reid and MacKenzi's Room...

Seeing Reid and MacKenzi are sharing a room I have been scrambling to make the boys room girl friendly. Haven't gotten there quit yet. I don't want to repaint the room because of the blue carpet, but I am going to incorporate brown and pink cherry blossems to add a girly touch.
I would love for Austin and I to build Reid his first toddler bed before MacKenzi needs to utilize the crib, so we have about six months to do this before this needs to be completed. So I am working on a cool design for his bed. Below is a bed that I would love to build him but it wouldn't fit in the room, so I am going to try and create something like this for him. I always loved a cool bed.
Growing up I always wanted this really cool room, but being a Navy brat we weren't allowed to paint our rooms or do anything fun. My dad didn't see the point if we were going to move every three years.
So My goal is to give my kids a fun and exiciting room that will bring out the creativity. So I really look forward to the next house so each of our babies can have their own room!!!

32 Weeks and Counting!

We are now at 32 Weeks and with 8 weeks left to go I am frantically trying to get the kids rooms set! Reid and MacKenzi will be sharing a room until we can find a bigger hosue :) Thus far I have gained 17 pounds and am still supposed to gain a pound a week until she is here. My blood pressure on the other hand needs to stay down because my goal is to make it to 40 weeks with her. I only made it to 37 weeks with Reid due to preecamplsia. So our fingers are crossed....So stay tuned!!!

9 Months Young as of Yesterday!

Yesterday my little man turned 9 months old and has loved every minute of it. He also reached a little milestone as well, he is now able to get up an all fours on his own! Now we just need him to go forward instead of backwards!
At the end of this month we will make our second big road trip to see his godmother and my best friend Amber :) We are so excited to go and see the ocean and play in the sand!
EXCITING!!!

Week 32.5 Update

James Reid at week 18 and growing...

Today we are at week 32.5 and growing, at week 31 he was 32.5 cm long and grew 3 cm in two weeks. Typically they average 1cm per week...So I was told. The doctor smiled when he read the measurement and the nurse about ran into the hallway to tell the others how much he had grown! It was too funny, I had to ask the doctor if that was "NORMAL" and he says he is going to be a big boy! Our next appointment is this Friday at 4pm, can't wait to hear how big he has gotten this time :)

Our First Ultrasound!

We had our first offical ultrasound from the doc at 7 weeks and 4 days. It's heart rate is at 146 and beating great!

Our Baby in Week 8 of PregnancyYour baby is growing at an amazing rate — about a millimeter every day — and now is the size of a large raspberry. Your little berry is looking a lot less reptilian (even though she has webbed fingers and toes, her tail is just about gone) and a lot more baby-like these days, as her lips, nose, eyelids, legs, and back continue to take shape. Her heart is beating at the incredible rate of 150 times per minute — about twice as fast as yours! And even though you can't yet feel it, she's now making spontaneous movements as she twitches her tiny trunk and limb buds.
12 more weeks until we find out the sex of our baby, SUPER EXCITED!!!

Our First Baby!!

Austin and I are expecting our first little Fleck!!!!!!
We are so excited and what a suprise :)

Your Baby in Week 6 of PregnancyYou might be coping with full-blown pregnancy symptoms (sorry), but there's plenty of good news too. Your baby's jaw, cheeks, chin, eyes, ears, and nose are beginning to form what will eventually become one adorable face. In addition, her kidneys, liver, and lungs are developing, and her heart is now beating 80 times a minute (and getting faster every day). All this and she's still no bigger than the length of a nail head (about a quarter of an inch) from crown to rump!
