NO MORE GLASSES!!!

So Austin finally had PRK laser eye surgery to correct his vision. I got the opportunity to watch as they scrubbed his eyes, dried his eyes and then laser them! It was hard to watch because it looked like it hurt...OUCH! But he is doing well now and is hiding in the "cave" (aka. bedroom) to avoid all light. Today will be the toughest day for him seeing his eyes are swollen from being scrubbed and lasered, so he is on some pain meds to help them not itch and to help with the swelling. Until then, he should be doing much better after today! It's a few week recovery followed by a few months to great vision...He can't wait until this is all over!!!
